Privacy Policy

Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. We want to make your experience online satisfying and safe. Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we feel you should fully understand our policy and the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we/our partners/advertising companies gather and how this information is used.

Your Privacy

The privacy of our visitors is important to us. You may visit our website without providing any information that identifies you personally ("Personally Identifying Information"), however we do use cookies and collect anonymous technical data to help us improve this website.

Here is information on what types of personal information we receive and collect when you use and visit this website and how we safeguard your information. We never sell your personal information to third parties.

Google Analytics

Like countless other websites, we also use a tool called Google Analytics™ to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit, when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a persistent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use, which can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/tos.html, and the Google Privacy Policy, which can be found at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser, but that can affect your overall browsing experience.

Log Files & Usage Tracking

Using tools provided by Google, we track user traffic patterns but this tracking is never associated with individual users. Like most websites, we track information such as the browser type, the operating system, the screen resolution, the search phrases entered in search engines that led users to this site, average time spent on the site, pages visited, bounce-rate, repeat-visits, referring URLs, user demographics, etc. Such information is read from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).

As with most other websites, we collect and use technical data contained in log files. The information in the log files may include your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider, such as AOL or Shaw Cable, etc.), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc.), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to your name or any information that is personally identifiable.

We use this tracking and technical information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.

Cookies and Web Beacons

We use third party advertisements and affiliate programs to support this site. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our site, which will also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google AdSense program, or Amazon through the Amazon affiliate program) information including your IP address, your ISP, the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (for example, showing ads about Los Angeles health clubs to someone in Los Angeles) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing sports ads to someone who frequents sports sites).

The DoubleClick DART Cookie

We use Google's AdSense program to display advertisements on our website. Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our website. Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie in ads served on this website. When you visit a partner's website and either view or click on an ad, a cookie may be dropped on your browser. The data gathered from these cookies helps Google, as a third party vendor, to better serve and manage ads on publisher sites and across the web.
The DoubleClick DART cookie is used to serve ads specific to you and your interests ("interest based targeting"). The ads served will be targeted based on your previous browsing history (for example, if you have been viewing sites about visiting Las Vegas, you may see Las Vegas hotel advertisements when viewing a non-related site, such as a site about hockey). DART uses "non personally identifiable information." It does NOT track personal information about you, such as your name, email address, physical address, telephone number, social security numbers, bank account numbers or credit card numbers.

Facebook Page

We use Facebook to build a social-media presence. We use social plugins such as the Facebook Like Box, using which you may like our Facebook page. If you like our Facebook page, Facebook can provide us certain information that you share publicly on your Facebook profile, and you authorize us to use such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Please read Facebook's privacy policy and Facebook's terms to understand what information we can receive from Facebook, and how they use the information that you provide them.

Other Third-party Cookies

We may also use third party associate or affiliate programs from www.amazon.com on our website. These third parties also use cookies and web beacons. Their advertisements and links appear on www.herbalanxietyremedies.org, and are sent to your browser. They may receive your IP address when this occurs. Other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) may also be used by these third-parties.

This website (www.herbalanxietyremedies.org) has no access to or control over the cookies used by these third-parties. You may consult the respective privacy policies of these third-parties for more information on their practices as well as for instructions about how to opt-out of certain practices. Our privacy policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, such other advertisers or web sites.

If you wish to disable cookies, you may do so through your individual browser options. More detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers can be found at the browsers' respective websites.

Children

The website is intended for use by individuals over the age of 18. We do not knowingly provide children under the age of 13 with access to the Site. If you are under 13, please do not submit any personally identifiable information online. Children should always ask a parent or guardian for permission to send any personal information online to anyone.

Use and Sharing of Information

We use tracking information to analyze which pages of our site users like or don't like based on traffic to those pages. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you. We track search terms entered in search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask, AOL, etc. as one of the many measures of what interests our users. But we don't track which terms a particular user enters.

We may create aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for advertisers, sponsors and partners. This allows our advertisers to advertise more effectively, and allows our users to receive advertisements that are pertinent to their needs. However, such aggregate reports do not contain personally identifiable information about any user.

You may voluntarily like our Facebook page, and/or its status updates. You may voluntarily comment on our Facebook page posts or links. Such information is stored on our Facebook page itself, and we do not record or store such information anywhere else. We only use such information to provide a better user experience. The information that you make public on your Facebook profile or on our Facebook page can be viewed by anybody.

We never sell your personal information to third parties. We will not disclose any information about any individual user except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public. In fact, we don't actively track or store any personally identifiable information.

By using our site, you consent to the collection and use of the above information. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
